Real Life Disc Golf

It’s finally disc golf season in Pennsylvania, and we had to take a break to post something n0n Apple related. Nuclear Nova Software is located  on a two acres plot of land, and we’ve taken advantage of every last square foot to create a new disc golf course layout every year. We currently have four metal baskets scattered along with several orange/yellow stake targets, together they make 54 holes! Below is the latest scorecard. Distances may seem a bit low compared to public courses (2013 has not been scoped yet), but we make up for the small layout with obstacles and required turns. The current record is -6 on the 2011 course and -3 on the 2012 course. The 2013 versions should have the potential for the lowest scores due to less par 2’s and more par 4/5/6’s, but it also has more risk/reward shots which should keep the average scores from getting too low. Now if only Meadville was large enough to have a disc golf scene we could start a league!
