  1. I’ve updated the latest version for my Mac of GL Golf but can no longer see the aiming triangle.

    Can you help please?

  2. Just updated to 2.34 but having trouble with scoring.

When the game loads, my score is set at +73 instead of 0. If I make a birdie, it drops to +72.

    What’s up?

      1. Mac OS 10.6.8.

And yes, when I start a new game of GL Golf Lite, my score starts at +73.

The line in the dialogue box says:

        *** Garry Gilbert 0, Overall 73 +73 ***

I figured it was a subtle message that I should buy the full version.

And I plan to do that soon.

        1. Ah, thanks for the bug report! This will be fixed in 2.35, I was doing some testing which required a higher starting score than 0 and I just forgot to change it back after I finished, then missed the bug in my pre-release testing. That was not intended as a subtle message, I have enough obvious ones such as the shareware delays and short demo course ;)!

    1. This is a bug and should be fixed for the next update, send me another message if it is still not fixed in 2.35. For now try changing the render quality mode and messing with the water settings, if you get the wrong combination of settings it can make half the trees invisible!

  3. I purchased gl golf deluxe for iPad and noticed something wasn’t working so deleted it and reinstalled. I think I ended up paying again.usually we get some sort of notification telling us it’s being reinstalled at no charge. Any chance you can check on this? I did it just minutes ago… 3:45 CST.

    Thanks.

    1. You shouldn’t be charged twice if you used the same account and bought the same game. If you receive a bill from Apple with the charge give them a call, unfortunately us developers can’t touch any of the payment stuff to deal with refunds.

    1. I’m not sure, achievements are submitted every time they are fulfilled, and the scores are submitted at the end of each round. Try finishing a round or two when you know you have a real good internet connection

  4. Example: made sure I was logged in to gamecenter, then played 7 consecutive rounds at ten under or better and still no achievement. Any advice? Thanks!

    1. This is a known problem that can happen sometimes, for now you may need to force quit the app and re-open it, that will bring you back to a fresh main menu, it will be fixed for the next update

  5. I downloaded the full game to my ipod touch and i’m having major issues with scanning across the screen. When I try to aim, the screen image moves quickly in circles and it is really hard to get the direction I want. Any tips?

  6. I love this simple golf game. I’ve wiled away many an otherwise useful moment with it.

I have to say, though, that the little player that is now part of 2.350 is a little frustrating. For those of us playing on a larger screen, the player and the player’s shadow get in the way of being able to aim the shot. I can see where you’re going with this, but it would be perfect if we could turn off the image of the little man just like you can turn the grass or the sound off and on.

Personally, I think the game was cooler without the man. And if you are playing this on a small screen, like an iPhone, your accuracy will be better if the little man didn’t get in the way. Just my 2 cents.

    1. Hi Dennis, I’m glad you’re enjoying GL Golf! There have already been several improvements made to to golfer model, and the option to turn him off, in the 2.36 update. Keep an eye out for it next month
