GL Golf (iOS) Updated to 2.351

GL Golf has been updated to version 2.351 on the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and is now live on the iTunes App Store. Unfortunately due to new incompatibilities between old and new devices, GL Golf is now limited to iOS 4.1+. This removes support for second generation devices, including the iPhone 3G. All users running iOS 4.x are highly encouraged to upgrade to 5.x, especially if they experience trouble aiming and switching clubs.

    1. Each color is sort of like a contour line, so if it doesn’t change colors its flat, if it changes colors quickly then it’s more steep

  1. Just an update, the issue with controls not working on 2nd and 3rd generation has finally been resolved. I’m submitting version 2.352 today and going to try to get Apple to expedite the review.

  2. I tried to play the hardest holes tournament this evening, but could not get past hole #10. Isle south #18 always came up…3 times. I was in the pro mode, but it was playing like the expert mode giving me the yardage and clubs.

I practiced the hardest holes in the pro mode and it worked fine.

I have an imac 10.5.8 Is there something I should or should not be doing?

    1. I’m not sure why it would do that, I just completed a round in the tournament. Are you using GL Golf version 2.35? The tournament was started in expert mode accidentally, but it looks like it’s too late to change since several people have completed their first and second rounds

  3. I checked the golf version and it comes up 2.350. It is still stuck on hole #10 and won’t go on to #11.
I had some trouble with the last tournament also. It wouldn’t record a score on one of the holes.

If I start a new I will be out of the tournament, not that I would have any fantastic scores, but enjoy the challenge. I’m just puzzled why it is doing this.

  4. I don’t think I will try the potential fix you suggested for fear of loosing everything.
I hit the start new game button and was able to play all l8 holes.
Something is happening in the tournament mode that I can’t play it. It didn’t work properly on the last tournament either. It wouldn’t record the score on a certain hole, I can’t remember which one, but it wouldn’t let me continue the tournament.
Would the new update correct this problem? I hope so.
