We’re done! Well we have to tie up a few loose ends before we’re totally done, but we expect to submit Nova Golf to Apple here in the next day or two! It’s been a year in production and eight years since GL Golf first came out, but we finally did it! Next up we’ll be porting it over to iOS, the process should be relatively easy we just need to make sure it runs fast on all devices.

Today marks a big milestone for Nova Golf. The first career mode qualifying round has been played, and we missed the cut by one place! This is important news because with two courses finished we’re finally at the point where we can start tweaking the physics, courses, and difficulty of the game. Check out the scorecard and qualifier screen!

We’re still hard at work on Nova Golf here, though the release has been pushed back to April from March. Nova Golf has a lot to live up to, so we want to make sure it’s complete before we release it. Stay tuned for information on a beta test in the near future!

Tonight the first full 18 holes of Nova Golf were played. The first course isn’t totally finished yet but an experienced GL Golfer was only able to shoot an 85 (+14)! This was with a golfer profile leveled up half way using the worst equipment. Ideally we’d like to see this score be lower by 5-10 strokes, so we’re going to make the default equipment a little better. Additionally a few bugs that popped up added several strokes, which will of course be fixed before release.
