Nuclear Nova Software started as a Shareware company ten years ago, and has gradually been transitioning into more of an “app store” model. Today is one of the final blows to our shareware services, as we’re removing most of the shareware purchase options from our Purchase page. The GL Golf expansion and subscription packs will still be available to current GL Golf owners for some time, but all new purchases will be through the Mac App Store.

Fundamentally nothing has changed about our business, we’ve just transitioned to a new more efficient distribution model. Demos are still available on our of our games as “Lite” apps, and often the full versions are now cheaper due to increased competition.
