GL Golf has been updated to version 2.39 on the Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and is now live on the iTunes and Mac App Store. Please allow up to a day for the update to become available as it is still propagating through Apple’s system. The shareware version has also been updated. Check the Product Page for more information

What did you do to my GL Golf programme??? The graphics are different and rather invasive. I get a female golfer and I do not want that but I am unable to learn how to change back to the male golfer. Please forgive me if I am wrong here, but this is the worst update ever sent out. HELP!!!

The current version randomly selects a golfer sex/skin/clothing configuration each round. In the next version you will be able to choose, we wanted to get the update out as soon as possible rather than spend a week working on a selection screen. The changes are purely cosmetic though, they don’t effect gameplay
As for the graphics you’ll have to send me a screenshot as not much was changed
I am sorry to hear about the rush to market of the update. The old screen was pleasant and easy to look at. The new screen is, in my unrequested and uneducated opinion, is inelegant and rather intrusive:

i found if u play with the render quality in the graphics it will change the player
Those settings do not have any effect on the player, it must have been by coincidence
Oh I see what you mean, it reloads the player over and over again until you get one you like

trying to play the GL Golf Tournament…have completed 2 rounds but cannot open the third….when i hit play tournament i am told to hit resume game..when i do, it quits…any ideas? Would like to finish

I ran into the same problem. Just play your last two rounds as usual and email me a screenshot and I’ll manually add it. Remember round one is white tees pinset 1, round two is blue tees pinset 2, round three green tees pinset 3, round four green tees pinset 4. Sorry!
Played a round,as you suggested, even though screen said i would not be allowed back into tournament….Just for fun, tried to get back in….no problem…played third round…everything was good…go figure !!!

So, how much longer to get a male player. I quit playing. Really unprofessional.
We are sticking with our 3 month update cycle so it should be out mid-january, being reviewed by Apple as we speak. Quit playing a game because a women avatar is hitting the ball instead of a male one, come on…
