We’ve finally finished the fourth course for Nova Golf. Below is the first practice round score card. Expect these scores from the white tees to drop as we remove a few unfair areas (I swear I didn’t deserve those bogies), some of the greens are brutal at the moment! It usually takes about six or so practice rounds with various tees and pins to fine tune a course, so we should be able to submit to Apple by the end of the week, where we will have a painfully slow wait to approval.
I am having a problem with the new course on hole 11 in amateur mode. So far, 6 times in a row, after getting a par on the hole, Nova shuts down. When I restart it, it takes me to the start of hole 11, and then after getting a par, it shuts down. It won’t let me go on to hole 12.
I did not have a problem golfing all 18 holes when it was in beginner mode.
By the way, the beginner mode did prove that this new course is going to be a lot of fun.

So this specific bug has been bugging me, as I played the new course 20+ times before releasing to make sure it was perfect. Somehow the app store versions crashes when it tries to load hole 12, yet my development version did not. I’ve submitting a revised version, as soon as it gets through Apple’s review process it will be posted for an update and you should be set. Sorry about the wait, I wish the review process was quicker, it’s terrible to not be able to get fixes out to users immediately.
Thanks for the quick response. I’ll be looking for the update. I’ll now just keep practicing at the beginner and pro levels until then.
