MISC - BUG REPORT
Okay Mr. Jake, here's the skinny. I am playing Rocky Grove. I quit after hole five by pressing keys "power" and "S". "Resume Game" becomes availble. I put computer to sleep. About four hour later I wake computer and open Gl Golf and hit "Resume Game". Up comes hole 6, but the ball is sitting next to...
MISC.
First a bug report. When I quit hole 5 on Rocky Grove and then go back to hole 6 on "Resume Game", the box on the left tells me I've hit two shots already and the ball is in the rough at the edge of the green. In other words, I am not returned to the hole-6 tee as I should have been. Then, you owe m...

NEW UPDATE
Great new update - even if the yellow balls really arent' yellow - still. That's okay, because I decided blue can be seen better than any of the others. My favorite feature, of course, is "unlimited" mulligans. Now I can play Isle West, Rocky Grove, and Iron Wood. Also I am now qualifed to be Presid...

A Velleity
My yellow ball still looks red. Can you make it truly yellow. I just want the color because I think it will show up best. There are still a few bugs here and there, but they don't bother me, so I'll leave it to others to point them out. Well, there is one that is a nuisance. On some courses, "Resume...
REPLAY
Thank you. If you can't make it next time, maybe somewhere along the line. It's no big deal, but it would help to "learn" the greens. Glad you agree.
REPLAY
May I suggest, for us duffers, at least, that on the "replay" feature it go ALL the way back to the beginning of the shot, and pause before it shows us the entire sequence. The way it is, we can't really tell anything, except that we made it (or didn't), because everything happens too soon and too f...
BUGS
Both of us will be happy to note that hitch in the "swing around the greens" problem is gone. I re-played all the courses, and it not longer shows up.
Go figure!

BUGS
I understand your reluctance to drop whole courses. Even masochists have to be accommodated, I guess. Six triple bogeys gave me the hint that these were not my dish of ice cream. As for the swirl-the-green bug, it takes the form of what might be called a "hitch". Instead of continuing around, it rea...
BUGS
The latest update was a real improvement - especially seeing the greens. Although, there are one or two courses where the circle-swing around the greens won't go all the way. (I know I should have noticed which ones, but I didn't.) Also, I think there is one course where the "power" of the clubs are...

RANDOM COURSE AND MOROCCO HOLE 9
Thanks Mr. Jake. It's always a pleasure to find that the problem isn't the quirkiness of Apple driving software people nuts.
Looking forward to .04.

Moroccan Links
Mr. Jake: Hmm. I tried the same course after I sent the message to you and the same problem occurs - I had the right place. The hole and stick don't disappear until the ball is on the green. The number on the left tells me I'm ten feet from the pin; however, nothing shows up but more green. I go to ...

FIXING BUGS
Thank you for the response to the Random Course situation.
There is another course, I think it is Moroccan Links, where both the pin and the hole completely disappear on the 9th hole until the ball is on the far back side of the green - until that point one is putting blind.

RANDOM COURSE
The new "Random Course" choices are not random. Each time they start out with Winding Meadows, then New St. Andrews, so on and so forth - so far as I know, always in the same order.
Is this a bug, or the way it's supposed to be?
The Random Holes feature seems to be truly random.

Answer to duffer's questions
Thanks for the answer regarding markers and club choices for trees. If you can't lower the 4-1 irons, maybe you could raise some of the trees. Meanwhile, I will "maneuver," as Whittaker Chambers said. Altogether, a great game and I'm looking forward to updates (mainly raising or eliminating tree fol...

markers and club choices
There are three markers - red white and blue: what do they signify? I am the duffer's duffer. What club can you use at what power to get under trees. My experience, lo over 40 years ago, tells me that anything under a 5 iron is a fairly flat shot. This seems not to be the case in this game. It's a h...
