    1. Hi Roy, we currently have 5, but two more are nearly finished and will be out in the near future in our next game Birdie Golf!

  1. Purchased a new MacBook. I downloaded Nova Golf and signed in using my apple ID.

The game is there, along with my purchased courses, but the skill levels and upgraded equipment are not.

Do I have to earn those points all over again? My only other option is to buy the clubs and skill?

    1. Hi Garry,

Do you still have access to your old computer? If so open Nova Golf on it, go to the Preferences tab and enable iCloud (making sure you’re signed in to iCloud on that computer still). Then maybe play a few holes to ensure it syncs. On your new computer then do the same thing, and it should ask if you’d like to sync with your old computer, and it will download all of your old skills.

I use to leave iCloud disabled by default, but since then I have enabled it by default to prevent this from happening.

        1. Not sure if you can help me with this Jake.

When I open Nova Golf on my older MacBook, it asks if I want to overwrite the data with an iCloud backup from my new MacBook.

I always answer “no.” I can’t get it to work the opposite way.

I’ve tried throwing out the Nova Golf app on my new MacBook and downloading it again. Didn’t help.

          Cheers/Garry Gilbert

          1. Hum, I’m not 100% positive on this one, when you press No it should eventually update the iCloud backup. Try turning iCloud off on the new computer, then on the old computer maybe play a half round, make a new profile, or anything that would force a save of the iCloud backup. After that try turning iCloud back on with the new computer, maybe that will work

  2. I have several questions concerning the playing of the game.

1.Can you reset the power and accuracy bars so as not to hit an errant shot?

2.How often can you use the power up bar?

3.In tournament play are the courses changed automatically?

4.In experience mode are the parameters set by the player to suit his style?

5.How do you clear the Achievements mode-if at all?

6.How do you control the X-Putter mode?

7.Will you be changing the characters that play game to more realistic characters?

I enjoy the game and find myself playing it some each day. Thank you for your help.

    1. Hi Michael,

      1. No, once they are selected this is your shot. Level up the accuracy stat and stay in the fairway and the bars will move slower and become easier to time right
      2. You get one of each per round, a second per round can be bought in the pro shop
      3. Yes
      4. Yes, level up skills in the Career menu
      5. Start a new profile in the Career menu
      6. Same as the usual putter, just a harder hit
      7. Not for Nova Golf, be we do have a sequel planned at some point in the not to distant future!

Hopefully this helps, check the guide for more info – https://nuclearnova.com/games/novagolf/nova-golf-guide/
