I purchased the GLGolf deluxe and most of the course packages. I also purchase the mulligans package for $.99. Is the mulligan package only good for one round and do I have to purchase the extra mulligans each time I play. Additionally can I purchase more than one extra mulligan per round. I love this game!!!!!!
Hi Roy, the mulligan pack gives you an extra three mulligans. Normally you get one free mulligan per round, but this will let you use an extra for a total of two. So basically the pack will give you an extra mulligan on three different rounds of golf, then it runs out. I limited it to two so people don’t post ridiculous scores using 100 mulligans on a round. I’m glad you are enjoying the game!
I used to like playing GL Golf. Today something happened. Im on the latest iMac, with latest operating system, Yosemite. If I try to restart a game, it goes into “the spinning beach ball of death” mode, and for the first time ever “Force Quit” and “shut down” are both stopped, so GL Golf in that case is trapping me on it.
Are you running the Mac App Store or Shareware version? Did you try deleting/reinstalling? If that doesn’t work I have an idea that can reset the preferences and hopefully get you going again
I bought the golf game and I can’t play it because the swing button doesn’t work.. Please help I have a iPhone 6 plus

Due to the scarcity of the 6+ we have only been able to test it on the simulator along with the regular 6. It is working as expected here but we don’t have access to a 6+ yet for testing, ours is currently on backorder with Apple. Can you try clicking around different areas around the swing to see if anything registers? Also, in the Help screen you can enable Double Tap for now so you can play with a double tap. We’ll get something working ASAP,
First time player and probably my last subscriber if not provided with a satisfactory response to this msg. Was able to practice first course and was expecting to be able to continue on. Negative couldn’t, even get any entry to another course. I even paid another $1.99 thinking that would work. NEGATIVE!!!! What’s up with that. Do I have to spend unlimited funds to play this game?? Advise please.
Are you talking about Nova Golf or GL Golf? Nova Golf comes with three courses that you should be able to play
Jake it seems there’s a problem with all the games after i download Yosemite the game is not consistent. The ball stops in mid air when Driving it,when your putting it’s jerky is not smooth the ball stops and go’s, seems like all the game features are slow left the right club selection and return. I restarted the computer and the game still the same.

Hi Don, did you by chance change the window size? It may be too big and slowing down the graphics, there is also a chance Apple has a video card driver issue with Yosemite, I’ve noticed my computer is not a smooth since upgrading. Do you mean the ball completely stops in the air? I’ve never heard of that happening before
Yes the ball stops in mid-air. The golfer’s swing stops half way. The screen freezes when the ball is putted. This was the best golf game on the Mac. Obviously, the release of Yosemite has had a material adverse affect on GL Golf. Too bad.

What a performance downgrade in GL Golf with the upgrade to OSX Yosemite!!!! Screen freezes in mid-stroke, ball freezes in flight, and on and on and on. Hoping an update is in the works.
To unlock new course I should purchase GL Golf Subscription for $9.95?

There are only two games I have ever not deleted on my phone this being one of them I’m ready to do to press the delete button after the latest upgrade i’ve had this app since the day it came out This used to be the greatest app of all times for golf … right up until the last upgrade I don’t play this game on a Mac I play it on my phone 5S it was working perfectly I purchased everything you could purchase except the extra Mulligan pack and now the game is unplayable
Hi, We are extremely sorry about the issue, a fix has already been submitted to Apple and we have requested an expedited review, we’re hoping it gets pushed through this weekend. Keep a lookout for another update that takes care of this problem
I love playing GLGolf Delux on my iPad2, and thank you for fixing Royal Melbourne hole 4!
There is still one problem remaining on the iPad2 version. When I go to the Home page and click on Course Pack 9 and click on it to purchase it … NOTHING HAPPENS! The program does not send me to the APP store password box like it did for course packs 1-8 and 10.
You might want to fix this since you are missing out on additional income…????
Hi Bill, thanks for the info on course pack 9 – It looks like the iPad version the button got disconnected, but it still works on the iPhone. I’ll have that pack updated for the next update!
I have the iphone 6s plus and the swing function doesnt work. Is there a fix ? I deleted the app and reinstalled it but it did not fix the issue .
Hi Rich, we’re looking into this issue now. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to reproduce the bug yet with our test iPhone 6+/6s+, so we’re a bit confused. For now you can try to to turn on the double tap to swing option in the help screen, and try clicking all over the edges of the swing button as a few users were able to find a sweet spot where it worked. The next update we’re releasing is going to make the button a little bit bigger too.
This suggestion was recently emailed to us, and it seems to have worked for a couple of users “I am able to swing if I tap outside of the swing box. Approx 5mm to the left and 5mm up (from the upper left corner of the swing box)”
Do you have anything changed on your phone that you could think of that may change it’s behavior? Usually when people report bugs we can verify and fix them but this one has been haunting us for a few months now with no ideas in sight.
