I enjoy GL Golf for my Ipad, but yesterday, I installed the upgrade, and the app launches with the GL Golf banner only, and then immediately shuts off. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but this did not help.

I am working with a 64GB Wifi and 3G Ipad, if that means anything.

Any suggestions?

I have the same issue with the July 13th update on my 64GB WiFi iPad. Installed the update via the iPad App Store update. Now I get the Splash screen and after a few seconds the app quits. Tried deinstalling and reinstalling, plus did full iPad resets in-between the re-install and after it. The app crash persists.

Please advise on an update or a fix.

same problem as others have reported- I really liked previous version but updated version just crashes my iPad after the opening screen. Is there a way to go back to previos paid version until this version is corrected?.. I assume that the issue is that this app was built for iPad veer 4 which is not released yet and may not be ready until the Fall of 2010

I would like to apologize for the crashing. There is a unique bug that is causing GL Golf to crash on the iPad at launch. This has been reported by me to Apple, and a fix I found is being rushed through the update process. Keep an eye out for an update in the next few days, until then I apologize for the inconvenience. I'm not sure how the bug made it through my testing and apples testing, but it is being remedied as fast as possible! Unfortunately no way to downgrade right now (that I know of)

I had the same trouble with the 13th July upgrade in that the app just crashed upon opening. I am in Australia & my iPad did the latest 16th July upgrade which has fixed the crashing problem but now I have no sound. The iPad sound is OK on everything else - just not on GL Golf.

Just a follow on from the previous post. It is now fixed. The iPad did the upgrade direct to the iPad & the sound did not work. So I deleted the app from the iPad - upgraded the app to ITunes & then synced back to iPad & it then worked. Love the game, Willy

Jake - I've installed the July 16 Upgrade to resolve the July 13 Upgrade issues. When I did so, I lost all of my additional purchased course packs, clubs, and saved personal scores. What can I do to get them back without having to pay for them again? I had purchased all the extra courses and all extra clubs except the 315 Yd. Driver and the 3 Pack of Mulligans.

I'm glad the new update fixed the issue. To get your items back just purchase them again, you won't be charged since you've already bought them.

Thanks for the info about the sound, a few other people have had the same issue so I'll let them know a reinstall should fix it.
