Arrow keys don't respond well.

Escape is a cute game, but I can't get my arrow keys on my Pismo laptop to resond very well. Sometimes they work and sometimes it seems that my key press is ignored. On level 3 I'm unable to throw a bomb most of the time. On level 2 it works fine. What can I do to improve key press recognitian?

What speed is your computer? Anything below 400 MHZ may not respond well. Also, you dont need to "thow" bombs, you can just stand on the switch and hit the "B" Keys.

Jake: If you're using keymap scan/key/bit check and see where you're checking for key input. I would check once every frame... but that's just me

Spalmore: I don't know what to tell you, maybe just hold in the button a little more instead of tapping it.

Of course I am using it every frame, I have also developed a method to use idle time to keep checking they keys, it makes the game alot more responsive
