ver 2.19 feedback

Hi Jake, I downloaded .19 a day or two after you posted it and I've been averaging a game a day (I would guess.) Really like the new heavy putter, its perfect. The new water looks good; did you add some sparkle to the sky or something? It looks different, sometimes. Better. Dig the tournament mode, ...

Re: GL Golf Beta Program

Hi Jake, just played a tournament round on the new beta. Worked great, and I really like the new reflecting water. Thats cool! I did, however, have some video artifacts on the 8th hole (of whatever the tournament was. The classic course?) After I teed off and I'm lining up my second shot and the ent...

Re: *** GL Golf Suggestions ***

Jake, I've got one for you... Can you put a volume control on the sound? Instead of just and 'on/off' switch? Sometimes when I'm playing, I"ve got iTunes going in the background. If I"ve got the golf sound effects "on" and my computers volume is about halfway up, the golf sound effects are Very Loud...

Re: GL Golf Beta Program

Just downloaded it and gave Torrey Pines a real quick runthrough. Nice course.. very nice. A few of the putting greens drove me nuts, but its got quite a lot of variety. I also got the music on the 3rd hole, which was a distraction only because it made me chuckle. Did pretty good, so I played it aga...

Re: TECHNICAL QUESTION

I've had it lock up once and got no response from the keys, but only once. Do you have a surge protector on your system, Neil? Spotty power, whether its from a wonky transformer out on the utility pole or old house wiring, can give your computer fits and cause all sorts of random havoc that will hav...

Re: Not worth 15 bucks at all!

I don't want to feed the troll, but .... You can say what you want KG, but I say that this is the best fifteen bucks I ever spent. Wait, twenty five: I got the course pack too. All based on the four hole demo. Yea, it ain't Tiger Woods; it doesn't have EA's marketing machine behind it; it doesn't ha...

>>Whenever your ball is in the sand you are limited to wedges and irons.

Ravenswood hole 6

I'm playing Ravenswood, hole 6 last night and I attempted a high arcing shot to get onto the putting green. As the ball was flying it passed over one of the shrubs.. and thwok! The ball fell to the ground below the bush, same sound and action as if it had hit a tree. The ball was about twenty feet i...

Re: Il est moi encore

I've thought the same thing.. sometimes. I can see how that would be handy... but then again, it might make my OCD kick in and I'd turn to extreme measures to make certain I got all the parameters right the next time. as a new player, I'm enjoying the learning curve. More and wholly accurate data (a...
