Hammond Heights eratic behavior

Hello Jake,

Hammond Heights does not work past hole #2. The "command C" just goes around and around and it won't stop to allow a shot.

Re: ON BUSHES

Hello Bob M,

You like those bushes?

Uh, where do you see them growing like that? Dubai?

ON BUSHES

Dear Jake, old sod,

Love the new (old) course, but please have your landscape architect visit a reliable greenhouse.

Those new bushes look like evergreen igloos.

Try something like arborvitae or even pyracantha.

At any rate, ecrasez l'infame!

ASTERISKS on certain courses

HELLO JAKE, After all the time I've been with you, this is to demonstrate how observant I am. I just noticed asterisks following the names of several courses listed in the main menu. I can find no following asterisks to explain this (see Rocky Coast). So . . . what do the asterisks signify, and wher...

Re: EMERALD GREENS - hole sixteen

Okay, Jake:

Here (IN UPLOAD ATTACHMENT) is the view on hole sixteen -- I'm not sure it is exactly the same angle, but the shot went over the bush in the foreground and hit a tree just on the other side. It was not an evergreen tree the ball hit.

EMERALD GREENS - hole sixteen

Hello Jake, :?:

Well, it's been a long time since this happened, but on hole 16, to the right of the lake, the ball hits a tree that isn't there.

At least it isn't a purple cow going up the stair.

Cursor problem

Jakeovichi,

Long time no complain or advice.

This is not all that important, unless it tells you something you need to know.

My cursor no longer disappears after a few moments the way it used to do.

I can always move it out of the way, but why the change?

Weird things are happening

Hello Jake, I registered and paid for the new course, 2.26. Or so I thought. I have limited the mulligans to "unlimited" but it doesn't seem to make any difference. For a while I got the new course, but no more, no matter what settings I use. I can't even get 315 - or less! Am I mistaken in thinking...

Mulligan limit

Jake,

You intimate that there is a new mulligan limit for the New Course (Blind Man's Bluff) in order to achieve the 350 yd. shot.

What is that limit? Or did I misinterpret?

LATEST IMPROVEMENT

Okay, Jake. I still haven't attempted the Heights yet, but the improvements in the last update (beta) have really helped that possible thing. It's a nutty version of golf, but, then, anyone interested in golf at all is not in his right senses. With me, it wouldn't matter. Any game would do, inasmuch...

Re: DILEMMA HEIGHTS

Thanks Jake, that will be fine.

Yes, I defy anyone to make the green on hole 2 of DH.

I think the course should be either modified or scratched.

The idea is okay, though.

DILEMMA HEIGHTS

I just tried the heights of dilemma: as Bill Buckley would have said "NGaaaaaaaaaaaawd!!!" How about an in-betweener - and we really do have to have a distance view so we can tell where the "green" might possibly be. Jake, I don't have a dog named Toto! or a handy lift-off tornado! Regards, Beta, my...

Re: Rocket Golf

Well, I'm chagrined, Jake. I do have two - I didn't know the one on the right in small letters provided the second game (or vice versa). Thanks for the freebie. Was this your concept? I could do without the wind factor that I guess is coming, since right now it says "no wind." I hate wind. I'm sure ...

Re: Rocket Golf Beta

I have one or two pertinent additions to that which, heretofore, I hardly understand a word. The information box in the left hand corner, which seems to me to be mostly irrelevant, HIDES the T-off ball most of the time. (Whether transparent or translucent, it is annoyingly there.) Just because in re...

Rocket Golf

Jackoboy, I was offered some of the new games (Rocket Golf), along with a registration number. I only get one game, and I cannot choose which one with which to start. What have I done wrong. (There's no doubt but that I've goofed somewhere.) Meanwhile, it is a very clever and fascinating concept, bu...

315 Driver - different slant

Dear Jake, I love the new driver. Sure, there are some holes where a 1 or 2 wood would come in handy on the fairway, but being able, finally, to drive over any number of hazards off the T is more than worth it. If a 3 wood won't suffice in certain circumstances, they's most likely been an' done somt...

ROCKY COAST - NEW TWIST

Hello Jake, This is not precisely a new topic, but there is a screwy "addition" to an old one - it may or may not help you in your debugging. On the Rocky Coast course, hole #10, the first time I click on Resume Game I get the course with zero trees. After hitting them (the invisible trees - it make...

Re: Driver - 315-yard

Sweet Jake, lovely Jake, darlin' Jake, You did say what you said you said, and I missed it both times - sort of. Actually, I did think I eliminated both the 1 & 2 Woods, but I guess not. (I'm so dumb that No always means "number.") I never was good at instructions, which is why I don't knit or croch...

Driver - 315-yard

Ah, Jake: Somewhere, I know there are instructions about this, but I can't find them. Driver 1 (330 yards), as it is displayed, is obviously off-limits, but Driver 2 (315 yards) appears to be available. Yet, when I click on that, I cannot get any of the courses to come up for play. I rather suspect ...
